TCLS is an independent school Sixth Form of all faiths and none. The Catholic ethos influences all aspects of school life and is underpinned by the PACT Charter of Educational Principles which emphasises the important role that parents have to play as the first educators of their children.

General Entry Requirements

Grade 7 or above in subjects to be taken at A Level

Grade 7 or above in English Language and Mathematics 

Grade 6 or above in at least THREE other subjects

Key Dates and Deadlines 

Sixth Form Open Evening, 2025 entry: Wednesday 16th October 6.30pm - 8.30pm

Thursday 17^th October - Application Open 

If you are currently a pupil at The Cedars or The Laurels  

• you do not need to reapply to join the Sixth Form.
• you need only complete the 2025 Supplementary Application Form 

If you are an external applicant  

• please follow the School Admissions process
• you need only complete the 2025 Supplementary Application Form

If you are an international student

• please follow the School Admissions process

• you need only complete the 2025 Supplementary Application Form for International Students

Friday 15^th November - Application Deadline – for Bursary, Becket scholarship, Application (externals) and SAF (all) 

Monday 25^th November (week commencing) – Internal applicant interviews (The Cedars and The Laurels pupils)

Monday 2^nd December (week commencing) – external applicant interviews. 

Friday 10^th January - Offer Letters sent (including Bursary and Scholarship application outcomes).

Friday 14^th February – Offer Acceptance Deadline.
